Matthew 7:13-14
As the passage said that narrow is the gate that leads to eternal life, and wide is the gate that leads to destruction. The wide gate will be entered by many. Those who decide to go down the easy path and stay in their comfort zone will go through life living for themselves and in the end destruction will fall on them. The narrow gate will be entered by few. Those who decide to live for Christ and put away earthly things, will have a hard life. If you choose to live for Christ you will be persecuted, the Bible says "In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted."2 Timothy 3:12 That clearly points out that we will be persecuted for Christ if you live for Christ. The thing is, are you walking down the narrow road and entering into the narrow gate. Or are you going down the wide road saying you believe in Jesus and yet you still love earthly things. Jesus said "No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." Matthew 6:24 We need to put away the things of the world and follow down the narrow path, no matter what we go through.
To God be the Glory!
